Both reflect "Excellent" strength in connections, however when I click on internet explorer....it states that I can't get on. That's what I did and it worked. Resetting the TCP/IP stack did the trick for me. Windows 7 & Vista Click Start and type "command" in the search box.

I have tried rebooting my computer, rebooting the cable modem, and rebooting the wireless router. after months of desperation finally the problem is solved !!! After reboot my system (Vista) said it needed to run Repair. I checked everything, and it says I'm ready to go, but, for some strange reason, the computer dosent have Internet Explorer, Mozillo Fire Fox, or anyhting of the sort!

Not sure it will fix the problem, bit this would be my first step and will cause no damage at all to the computer. Just run it with Windows 2000 compatibility.
