I am trying to upgrade my Acer 8942G - advised by the update process as compatible - from Window 7. I found a Microsoft page where I could download and install Win10 which is even now installing on my Laptop. There was nothing major in this upgrade but the few I've checked out I liked. This is same as the case we mentioned above for AU ISO file in which you can't retain apps and settings. have a peek here
