Very Very slow speed something like 9.84 mb/s. you have run ethernet link between two computers directly, not via the Extreme.If that is the case the issue is the computers and network setup. Thinking bout doing that anyway so if it does those things as well I won't attempt them after I reinstall. Source

I had same problem since last week, tried use command line / enable "Always show icons, never thumbnails"/ disable services and other tricks posted regard this problem and none of them I would suggest you get a large USB drive and plug it straight into the computer and directly backup the files..
