I tried Microsoft Fix it but that did not work. I can use firefox and opera without issues. Other programmes trigger Ashampoo for authorisation of programmes however AVG8 does not trigger Ashampoo Firewall permission box. After we removed the program, Internet Explorer works as it should. Worked for me. I agree IE8 sucks.
